By using the app you agree to the following terms.

1. What the service does

Notemic records audio, extracts audio from files/videos you import, and uses AI to turn that audio into transcripts, summaries, decisions and task lists.

2. Lawful use

Obtaining any consent required to record a conversation under the laws of your country is your responsibility. In many jurisdictions, recording people without their knowledge/consent is illegal.
You may not use the app for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate the rights or privacy of others.

3. About AI output

Transcripts, summaries, decisions and task lists are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Verify the output against the original recording before relying on it. Output is not legal, medical or financial advice.

4. Free use, limits and ads

The app applies fair-use limits (such as daily conversion credits and a maximum recording length); these limits may change without prior notice.
The app contains advertising. Any future paid subscription will be announced together with its own terms.

5. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for indirect damages arising from data loss, recording failures, unavailability of AI services, or errors in the output. Please keep backups of recordings that matter to you.

These terms may be updated; the current version will be published on this page.
