Privacy Policy
App: Notemic ·
Developer: Hasan Taylan Tataroğlu ·
Last updated: 28 July 2026
This policy explains, in plain language, what data is processed when you
use the Notemic app.
No account required
The app does not require registration. We do not collect your name,
e-mail, phone number or any identity information, and we keep no user
profiles.
Your recordings and notes
- Audio you record, and audio extracted from files/videos you import, is
stored only on your own device.
- When you use "Convert to Notes with AI", the audio file is sent over an
encrypted connection to Google's AI services (Gemini) via
Google's Firebase AI Logic infrastructure to be transcribed and
summarized.
- The generated transcript and notes are saved on your device; we cannot
access them and we do not store them on our own servers.
- Important: The app currently uses Google's free AI
tier. Google may use content processed on this tier to improve its
services and AI models. Please keep this in mind before converting
confidential meetings. See Google's terms:
ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
Microphone permission
The microphone is used only while you actively record. There is no
background listening.
Advertising
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may process device identifiers
(e.g. the advertising ID) and limited device information for ad serving and
fraud prevention. Users in the EEA and UK are shown Google's consent form for
personalized ads. Details:
policies.google.com/privacy
You can manage ad personalization in your device settings (reset advertising
ID / opt out of personalized ads).
Deleting your data
- You can permanently delete any note (including its audio file) with the
in-app Delete action.
- Uninstalling the app removes all recordings and notes from your
device.
- Since there are no accounts, no additional copy exists on our side.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, the current version will be published on this
page.
